PUBLIC HEALTH FORUM ON PAIN RESEARCH, TUESDAY 13TH OCTOBER 2015 AT 6:00PM

You are invited to attend this free public health forum organised by the Pain Management Research Institute and Rotary District 9685.

One in 5 Australians live with chronic pain, often caught in a cycle of pills, depression and inactivity. This seminar will appeal to a very broad audience, including people living with chronic pain or caring for someone with this condition.

Keynote speaker is Dr Charles Brooker, staff anaesthetist, pain specialist and Director of the Pain Management Research Centre at Royal North Shore. Dr Brooker will be assisted by at least one patient living with chronic pain, and one of PMRI's research team leaders, Dr Paul Wrigley, staff pain specialist and head of the clinical pain neurophysiology research unit.

Following a panel Q&A, attendees are invited to share in refreshments in the auditorium foyer and chat with the speakers and other attendees. We sincerely appreciate the support of Rotary District 9685 in the planning and publicising for this significant event.
