Pain Foundation Ltd

Pain Foundation Ltd, created in 1996 as PMRI Ltd, is the separate legal entity with DGR tax status, charged with the mission to raise funds to facilitate innovative research and education programs, based on the priorities established by the senior Pain Management Research Institute (PMRI) research team.

PMRI, originally established in 1990, is a Research Centre of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney and a Centre of the Kolling Institute of Medical Research, a joint initiative between the University and Northern Sydney Local Health District.

PMRI conducts basic and clinical research programs and also operates a national and international educational program leading to a Masters qualification in Pain Management. Our programs include seminars and webinars on specific topics of interest to a range of practitioners.

PMRI works in close collaboration with the Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre (PMRC), which treats patients with acute pain, cancer pain, and chronic non-cancer pain.

All donations to Pain Foundation Ltd over $2 are tax-deductible.  To make a donation, click on SUPPORT.
